Our Initiative

Blessed Ballers started in September of 2024, after our President and Founder offered to sponsor a child to play fall ball whose family might not have been able to financially afford to do so. After sharing on social media, multiple parents courageously inquired about help for their own children. After successfully campaigning locally, 12 youth players were registered and Blessed Ballers came to be.

With the unmatched help from our VP and Co-Founder, in total we have been able to help over 19 kids (and counting) with equipment and registration fees.

Blessed Ballers' goal is to help children ages 4-18 years old in all local sports, extra curricular activities and arts. From baseball to cheer, band to 4-H, we are here to help lift the burden and encourage kids the sky's the limit.

  • Founder and President, Kaitlin Jones

I am a married stay at home mom to seven children. Not too long ago I was faced with the decision to either get my kid's signed up to play baseball and softball or afford to groceries for the week.

I want to ensure that youth players of all sports and activities get a chance to make their own goals and home runs. I am so thankful I have my Partner in Charity, Davida, by my side helping our nonprofit grow and be able to help kids all over Texas!

  • Co-Founder and Vice President, Davida Perez

I'm a married, working mom of 6 children. I'm always figuring out ways to donate my time to our local charities like Beth's Closet in Bedias, and Heart and Hands family center in Madisonville. After Kaitlin started BB I asked if I could help and she said YES! After talking about our passions and goals for Blessed Ballers, we realized we wanted the same things! Since then we have been nonstop brainstorming on ways to help kids of all communities.
